Public Mesh is the platform through which Domenico Di Siena publishes books, notebooks and courses and edits the media outlets presented on this website. Public Mesh Editions is its trading name as a publisher.
The texts, design and covers on this website belong to Public Mesh, unless otherwise stated. Each work in the catalogue states its licence on its title page.
This website links to third-party services such as Substack, Udemy, podcast platforms and Stripe. Each has its own terms and its own privacy policy.
Privacy
The data controller is Domenico Di Siena, with the contact details given above.
If you visit this website, we do not track you. Its pages use no cookies: no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. We keep neither your IP address nor visitor logs, nor anything that could recognise you or follow you from page to page.
We count visits, not people. All we do is add one to the number of visits to each page, day by day. Only that figure remains, with no data about you. Free book downloads are counted in the same way.
Your browser keeps the language, the basket and the shipping country on your device so that the site works; the basket and the country are only used for your order. When you pay you move to Stripe’s page, which applies its own cookie policy.
The classroom, our course application, works differently. Only if you log in with your account, it uses a cookie that keeps your session open for 90 days and saves your progress, results, notes and questions, so that it works well and is easier to use: you pick up each lesson where you left it. Your browser also remembers the playback speed. We use none of this for advertising or to follow you outside the classroom.
Letter, notices and free downloads. If you subscribe, we process your name and email address to send you the Public Mesh letter, with your consent. If you request a free download, we use your email address to send you the link, and we only add you to the letter if you tick the box. The lists are kept on our own server, and you can unsubscribe from any mailing.
Proposals. If you send us a proposal, we use your details only to reply to you.
Purchases. Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland) processes the payment and collects your billing details and, for print books, the shipping address and a phone number. We use them to fulfil the order and keep them for as long as tax and accounting obligations require. We do not see or store your card details. We also note in your order when you download a book you bought.
Hostinger (server hosting), Stripe (payments) and Resend (sending the form emails) process data on our behalf. Some of them may process it outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR.
You can request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to hola@publicmesh.org. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
Terms of sale
The seller is Domenico Di Siena (Public Mesh Editions), whose details are given in the legal notice. We answer any question about an order at hola@publicmesh.org.
Prices. They are in euros and include VAT. Shipping for print books is charged separately, per order, and is shown before you pay:
| Spain | €5 | 2–4 working days |
|---|---|---|
| European Union | €12 | 5–10 working days |
| Rest of the world | €18 | 7–20 working days |
Order and payment. The purchase is completed on the Stripe payment page and is concluded once the payment is confirmed. Stripe emails you the receipt. If you need a full invoice, enter your tax ID or VAT number when you pay or write to us.
Print books. We ship them from Valencia within the delivery times for each zone. If a parcel arrives damaged or does not arrive, write to us and we will replace it.
Ebooks and courses. Once payment is complete, you download the ebook or open the course from the confirmation page. The ebook download link works for 30 days. Access to courses is for life: the course stays in your account and you can enter at any time at publicmesh.org/aula with your email.
Right of withdrawal. You have 14 calendar days from receiving a print book to withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason: write to us and we will refund the amount, including standard shipping, within 14 days of hearing from you. We may wait until the book, or proof that you have sent it, reaches us. The cost of returning it is yours to bear, unless the book arrived faulty.
For ebooks and courses, by paying you agree that delivery begins immediately and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal as soon as the download or access begins (Article 103(m) of the Spanish General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users).
Guarantee and applicable law. If a product does not conform to what you bought, you have the rights granted by law. These terms are governed by Spanish law; if you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence.
